On April 25, 2018, Professor Zhang Qinhai, Professor an Lijian and Professor qu Haipeng of Shanxi normal University were invited to visit our institute and made academic presentations for teachers and graduate students of related specialties in teaching 2-108.
Professor an Lijian gave a report entitled "Finite p-groups all of whose non-abelian subgroups are self-centralizing". Professor an first interpreted the concept of self-centeredness in the topic, especially by introducing the concept of "D-basic" through several theorems. Then, four properties of noncommutative subgroups are given, mainly for the latter two properties. The method to find them is introduced, that is, by cyclic extension, we solve the problem that all nonabelian subgroups are self-centered. classification of p - groups
Professor qu Haipeng gave a report entitled "enumeration on finite p-groups". Professor qu first introduced the problem of counting p-power subgroups on finite p-groups by means of the classical Siro's third theorem in group theory. Secondly, we give the conclusion that the number module p2 congruence of p power subgroup is 1 or 1 p, and then we continue to consider the case of module p3, especially for a result about module p3 of mathematician Mr. Duan Xuefu. A loophole in the proof result is presented and a counterexample is given to illustrate it.
Professor Zhang Qinhai gave a report entitled "History and present situation of the study of finite p-group in China". The report takes the content of Professor Zhang's book "Construction of finite p-group" as the background, and describes the important position of finite p-group in finite group. In this paper, the main works of p-group in foreign countries are illustrated, and the course of research on finite p-group in China is introduced, including power structure, arithmetic structure, normal structure, automorphism, characteristic mark and representation of finite p-group. This paper mainly introduces the work and achievements of several famous scholars and the group theory team of Shanxi normal University, and finally gives the research of finite p-group. And prospects for the future.
The teachers and students who participated in the report and the report experts conducted in-depth exchanges on the related contents of the report, indicating that this lecture enriched his own professional knowledge and opened up its own horizon and benefited a lot.
It is reported that Professor Zhang Qinhai, who graduated from the State University of New York in August 1998 with a doctorate in mathematics, is currently a doctoral supervisor at Shanxi normal University, vice chairman of the Shanxi Mathematical Society, and vice chairman of the Shanxi Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. He was a member of editorial Committee of Mathematical Research, Journal of Mathematical Education, and commentator of Mathematics Review in the United States. Professor qu Haipeng is a master's supervisor of Shanxi normal University. He is currently deputy director of Applied Mathematics Research Institute of Shanxi normal University.
