On September 3, 2018, Prof. Vladimir Edemskiy from Novgorod State University was invited to visit our faculty, and gave a research talk on “The linear complexity and k-error linear complexity of cyclotomic and generalized cyclotomic sequences” in room 201 for teachers and graduate students.
Prof. Vladimir Edemskiy introduced the computational method of the linear complexity and the k-error linear complexity of cyclotomic and generalized cyclotomic sequences, and got the k-error linear complexity of the Legendre sequence. He also discussed how to useDiscrete Fourier transform computing the linear complexity of the cyclotomic sequences. At the end of this talk, he put some subjects that can be further studied.Areas of his research interest arepseudorandom sequences, design sequences and cryptography.
