On the morning of August 15, 2019, Dr. Haode Yan from the school of mathematics, the Southwest Jiaotong University, was invited to our college and made an academic report entitled“On the Spectrum of Some Differential 4-uniform permutations over finite fields ”for teachers and postgraduates of relevant majors.

In his report, Dr.Haode Yan mainly introduced the latest research results, academic trends and development trends of differential spectra of the differential 4-uniform permutations over finite fields. After the report, teachers and students attending the report discussed some related professional issues with Dr. Haode Yan.

Yan Haode, Ph. D., Associate Professor of the School of Mathematics, Southwest Jiaotong University. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2010 and in 2016, respectively. From January 2016 to June 2017, he worked as a research assistant and postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mathematics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Since September 2017, he worked in the School of Mathematics, Southwest Jiaotong University. His research interests include cryptography and coding theory.
